"Felt rushed and honestly disappointed"
The salesperson barely helped me and seemed more interested in pushing me to buy than answering my basic questions. I ended up leaving the store feeling confused and annoyed. Overall, not a great experience.

"Warranty Support Was a Dead End!!!"
I tried to get help with my warranty, but it went absolutely nowhere!!! I expected at least some kind of support or clear answer, but I just didn’t get any real help at all!!! Frustrating experience!!!

"Good repair, just took a little longer than expected"
I brought my guitar in for a setup and a small repair, and overall it was a good experience. The staff was nice, and they actually explained what they did, which I appreciated because yeah, I don’t always know what’s going on with this stuff. It did take a bit longer than I was hoping, not a huge deal, but still worth mentioning. The guitar plays way better now though, so in the end I’m happy with it.

"Kind of an awkward vibe in the store"
I stopped in just to browse for a bit, but the whole place felt a little cold and uncomfortable?? It was super quiet, but not in a relaxing way, more like an awkward silence. The staff weren’t rude or anything, but it felt like they were watching me more than actually trying to help?? I ended up leaving way sooner than I expected.

"Customer service was helpful"
I had a question about my order the other day because I was checking my email while making coffee and realized I wasn’t totally sure what was going on with it. I reached out to customer service, and they got back to me quickly. The person was friendly enough and ended up sorting everything out. I did have to wait a little bit, but nothing too crazy. Overall, it was a good experience

"Decent stock, but they dropped the ball"
I did find the guitar strings I needed, and they actually had a few options, so I’ll give them that. But the pedal I came in for was out of stock, which was frustrating because that was the whole reason I made the trip. Feels like they should be better about keeping popular stuff available. Overall, the selection was okay, and I’d probably check again, but I wasn’t exactly thrilled.

I ordered a pedal from tomleemusic.ca and of course I managed to pick the wrong one, because that’s basically what always happens when you’re trying to buy gear online.
The return/exchange process was straightforward overall. Customer service got back to me after about a day, so not lightning fast, but they were nice and didn’t turn it into one of those annoying return situations that somehow every store makes complicated.

I’m giving 4 stars just because the refund/exchange took a bit longer than I expected. In the end it all got sorted out fine though, so I’d probably order from them again

"Felt like the selection was a bit limited"
I was hoping to find a wider range of guitar parts and a few keyboard accessories, but to me the selection felt limited. Some of the brands I usually come across on other sites weren’t available, and quite a few items seemed to be out of stock. The site itself was fine to use, it just didn’t really have much of what I personally needed.

I ordered from tomleemusic.ca and the item showed up in one piece, which was definitely a relief. The box was a little beat up when it arrived (not exactly the best first impression), and while there was some padding inside, it felt like there could’ve been more of it. Nothing was damaged, so I can’t complain too much, but for music gear, I’d feel better seeing sturdier packaging.

The staff didn’t seem to know much about what they were doing. A lot of the answers felt like guesses, and at that point I was just thinking, come on now, someone should be able to help properly.

I ordered from Tom Lee Music the refund process kind of stressed me out. At first I figured it would be simple, then I found myself chasing them more than once and getting more frustrated each time. The replies were slow, and it felt like nobody was totally sure what was going on. I did eventually get an answer, so I was relieved about that, but by then I was already annoyed. The store itself might be fine, but after dealing with the refund side of things, I’m not exactly excited to order from them again...

"Support after buying was such a mess"
After I bought the item, trying to get any help was just frustrating. My emails took forever to get answered, and when I called, they kept transfering me to someone else who still didnt seem to know what was going on. It really felt like once they got my money, I was pretty much on my own. I wouldnt shop there again.

My order didn’t show up when I expected it to, and the tracking updates weren’t very clear. I ended up having to contact support myself to figure out what was going on. They were polite enough, but it was mostly along the lines of “we’re checking with the courier” and “please allow a little more time,” which didn’t really help much in the moment. Overall, it was frustrating and not the experience I was hoping for.

The replies were just too slow. I felt like I had to put in way more effort than I should’ve, constantly checking back and waiting around for an update. Frustrating experience overall.

I bought this keyboard hoping it would be a decent little instrument, but the keys felt kind of cheap to me. A few of the sounds also had this buzzy quality that made it less fun to play, haha. It’s not the worst, but the overall quality wasn’t quite what I expected...

"My order disappeared into the shipping void"
I placed an online order and then basically heard nothing for way too long. No real updates, shipping was late, and when I contacted support, they didn’t really help much. It felt like my package got sucked into some secret warehouse black hole and everyone was pretending not to know about it. Eventually I was just left waiting and guessing, which was frustrating

"Prices didn’t really make sense for me"
I was browsing Tom Lee Music and, at least for the items I was looking at, the prices felt a bit hard to justify.

Some of the gear seemed more expensive than what I’d seen elsewhere, and for my situation, where I’m trying to compare value closely, it just didn’t feel like the best deal. Maybe there are certain products where the pricing is more competitive, but that wasn’t my experience.
If price isn’t a big factor for you, it might still be totally fine. For me though, based on what I was shopping for, it came across as overpriced and I didn’t feel very motivated to buy from there.

"Messy scheduling and felt like they just wanted my money"
I tried their lesson program, but the scheduling was all over the place and frustrating. Every class felt rushed, like they were more focused on getting through the session than actually helping me learn. After a while, it kind of gave me the impression they cared more about collecting payments than making sure the lessons were worthwhile. Not worth it for me.

"Pretty decent, just a little slow"
I rented a keyboard for my kid’s lessons and overall it was fine. The price seemed fair and picking it up was easy enough. The only thing was returning it took longer than I thought it would, and that part wasn’t super clear online or whatever. Staff was nice though, so it wasn’t a big deal, just kind of one of those things
